UN Projects N. Korean Men to Live 68 Years, Women 75

The average life expectancy for North Korean men has increased by one year to 68, while the figure for their female counterparts holds steady at 75.
That is according to the latest annual global population report by the United Nations Population Fund(UNFPA).
The 2017 UN report also projected South Korean men will live 79 years on average and South Korean women 85 years, marking a loss of one year for both sexes compared to last year, while also reducing the inter-Korean gap.
Meanwhile, the North Korean population was estimated at 25-point-five million for an increase of around 200-thousand from last year's report.
