North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping after Xi was reelected as leader at the China Communist Party Congress.
 
North Korea's state media Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) reported on Thursday that Kim sent the message on Wednesday, wishing the Chinese leader great success in his future tasks as head of the nation.
 
In the message, Kim reportedly said that the Chinese people have entered the road of building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era under Xi's guidance.
 
Kim added that he's convinced relations between North Korea and China and their parties will develop in the interests of the people of the two countries.
