N. Korean Media: US Shouldn't Expect Any Change from Pyongyang

As U.S. President Donald Trump has begun touring around Asia, North Korean media have reiterated that there is no change in Pyongyang’s stance on its nuclear issue.

In an editorial on Monday, the official newspaper of the North’s ruling party, the Rodong Sinmun, said the U.S. should not expect any kind of change from the North. The editorial claimed that the North is confident it will see victory and justifiability in its achievements.

In a statement issued last Saturday, the North’s state-run Korean Central News Agency said the U.S. should not even dream about holding denuclearization talks with the North.

The North's state-run propaganda outlet Uriminzokkiri repeated such claims on Monday, saying that the U.S. must first take steps to scrap its hostile policies against the North instead of yapping about holding denuclearization talks without preconditions.
