China, Russia Submit Implementation Reports for UN Sanctions against N. Korea

China and Russia have handed in implementation reports for UN Security Council(UNSC) Resolution 2371 sanctioning North Korea before the deadline for the submission.
According to the UNSC’s North Korea sanctions committee Web site, China submitted the report last Thursday and Russia last Friday.
Resolution 2371 was adopted in August in response to the North’s test launches of two intercontinental ballistic missiles. It banned Pyongyang’s exports of coal, major minerals and seafood. The deadline for the submission was last Friday, which was 90 days after the adoption of the resolution.
South Korea submitted its implementation report on October 27th.
