"N. Korea Replaces Security Forces at JSA over Soldier's Defection"

North Korea has replaced every single member of its security forces at the Joint Security Area(JSA) in the truce village of Panmunjeom following last week's defection of a North Korean soldier.
A South Korean intelligence official said Thursday that the South has witnessed the changes, speculating the commanders and senior officials of the North’s JSA security forces have likely been reprimanded by the leadership in Pyongyang.
The North Korean security forces at the JSA are known to consist of around 35 to 40 soldiers, including officers.
It has also been observed that North Korea has closed the 72-hour Bridge over which the North Korean soldier drove a military jeep to reach to the JSA.
