UNSC to Hold Emergency Meeting Thursday on N. Korea's Missile Provocation

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss North Korea's latest missile provocation.
South Korea, the U.S. and Japan requested the emergency discussion right after Pyongyang launched a long-range ballistic missile early Wednesday.
The UN said that the meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Security Council resolutions ban North Korea's ballistic missile launches. The council is expected to strongly condemn and express serious concern over the launch and adopt a chairman's statement or press statement.
