Trump: US will Take Care of N. Korean Issue

U.S. President Donald Trump says that the United States will "take care of" the North Korean issue after the North fired what appears to be an intercontinental ballistic missile early Wednesday.
Trump told reporters that it is a situation that the U.S. will handle, during a meeting with Republican congressional leaders at the White House.

“I will only tell you that we will take care of it. We have General Mattis in the room, and we have had a long discussion on it. It is a situation that we will handle."
He said that the missile launch did not change what he called the "very serious" U.S. approach.
U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis, who was at the meeting, told reporters that the latest ICBM launch was a higher trajectory than any test conducted thus far by North Korea.

"It went higher, frankly, than any previous shot they've taken. It's a research and development effort on their part to continue building ballistic missiles that can threaten everywhere in the world, basically.”
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson issued a statement urging the international community to take additional measures to enhance maritime security, including the right to interdict maritime traffic traveling to North Korea.
