KOSPI Closes Down at 2,472.37 on Wednesday
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday shed six-point-16 points, or point-25 percent, after individual and foreign investors continued to offload their shares. It closed the day at two-thousand-472.37.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell by ten-point-91 points, or one-point-42 percent, to close the session at 755-point-27.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened by four won against the dollar, closing at one-thousand-80-point-nine won.
