N. Korean Media Urge Citizens to Study Kim Jong-un's Ideologies

North Korea's state-run media are urging citizens there to fervidly study their leader’s recent speech calling for a war against antisocialist phenomenon.
The official newspaper of the North’s Workers' Party, the Rodong Sinmun, ran an editorial on Tuesday that said they need to be gripped with "a fever of studying" so that all party members will be armed with ideologies and theories suggested in the “historic speech" by leader Kim Jong-un.
Kim attended the fifth meeting of the cell leaders of the party this month.
On the final day of the three-day meeting on Saturday, Kim called on every party cell and member to wage an exterminatory war against antisocialist phenomenon in various areas.
Cell is the term used to describe the smallest unit of North Korea's ruling party consisting of five to 30 people.
