North Korea's Sports Minister arrived in Beijing Tuesday on his way to Lausanne, Switzerland where the International Olympic Committee(IOC) will host top sports officials of South and North Korea on Saturday to discuss the North's participation in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Kim Il-guk, who also leads North Korea's Olympic body, arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport on Tuesday morning with two or three other officials. North Korea's sole IOC member Chang Ung who visited IOC headquarters last week was among them.
Saturday's meeting, which will be the first inter-Korean sports dialogue in nearly eleven years, will be presided over by IOC President Thomas Bach.
