Coach of S. Korean Hockey Team to Select Members of Joint Team for Olympics

The coach of the South Korean women's ice hockey team will reportedly hold full authority in selecting members for a joint inter-Korean team for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
South Korea's chief delegate for inter-Korean talks on the North's Olympic participation Chun Hae-sung said on Wednesday that South Korea confirmed many times that the coach will hold the selection right, and North Korea showed its understanding on the matter.
The vice unification minister said the delegation worked to minimize concerns about forming a joint team.
Regarding controversy over a joint entrance at the Olympics under a unified flag, Chun said it would be meaningful if the two Koreas march together in reconciliation and unity.
He said the agreement on the joint march and the joint team are subject to final approval by the International Olympic Committee and relevant sports association.
