Koreas Mull Next Summit Preparation Meeting on April 18

South and North Korea are considering holding another high-level meeting around April 18th in preparation for the inter-Korean summit on the 27th.

It has been confirmed that the date April 18th was mentioned at the end of talks the two Koreas held on Thursday at the Panmunjeom border village to discuss the summit.

When the talks were over and greetings were being shared, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon who led the South Korean delegation sounded out his North Korean counterpart Ri Son-gwon to set the next meeting, and casually proposed April 18th.

The North Korean official reportedly responded, "Okay, let's do that."

The Unification Ministry said the two sides do have that date in mind but that it has not been finalized.
