Top N. Korean Official Apologizes for Restricting S. Korean Media Access

A top-ranking North Korean official apologized for restricting South Korean media access to a Pyongyang concert staged by musicians from Seoul.
North Korea's ruling Workers' Party Central Committee Vice Chairman Kim Yong-chol visited the Koryo Hotel where the South's press team is staying to ask for their understanding on Monday.
He said that restricting media activities and the freedom to film the concert was wrong and apologized to South Korean officials for the mishap.
On Sunday, South Korean media was reportedly barred from entering the concert hall where eleven major K-pop acts took to the stage. Only one camera reporter was allowed into the premises, according to reports.
