S. Korea to Hold Final Rehearsal for Friday Summit

South Korea will hold a final rehearsal on Thursday afternoon on the eve of the historical inter-Korean summit between President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The third and final run will involve all six of Moon's key aides who will accompany him at the summit, including Presidential Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok and National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong.
National Intelligence Service Chief Suh Hoon, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon, Defense Minister Song Young-moo and Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will also join the rehearsal at the Peace House at the truce village of Panmunjeom.
The summit preparation committee plans to conduct final inspections, practicing all planned events under the same format as the actual summit, including a welcoming ceremony.
South Korea held a rehearsal on its own on Tuesday and conducted a joint rehearsal with North Korean officials on Wednesday.
