Moon, Kim to Jointly Announce Summit Declaration

President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will jointly unveil the results of their summit once they agree on producing a joint declaration.
In a news briefing held at the truce village of Panmunjeom on Friday, chief presidential press secretary Yoon Young-chan said that when the declaration is finalized, the two leaders will hold a signing ceremony and announce it jointly. He added that the two Koreas are continuously holding working-level consultations to devise the joint declaration.
Yoon said that Moon and Kim's summit in the morning lasted last for 100 minutes from 10:15 a.m. He said the two leaders held serious and honest discussions on denuclearizing and establishing permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula as well as the direction for advancing cross-border ties.
