Speculation Grows Over N. Korean First Lady's Attendance at US-N. Korea Summit
The North Korean first lady’s presence at the inter-Korean summit is raising speculation she will also attend the upcoming U.S.-North Korea summit.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s wife Ri Sol-ju visited Panmunjeom on Friday afternoon to join her husband for a dinner hosted by the South to wrap up the historic inter-Korean summit at the truce village.
Ri’s public appearance alongside the North Korean leader has been frequent in recent months. She accompanied Kim during his summit meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing late last month, marking the first time the wife of a North Korean leader visited a foreign country.
