N. Korean Media Reports on Summit Declaration on 'Complete Denuclearization'

North Korean state media on Saturday published the entirety of the "Panmunjeom Declaration," and said the two Koreas affirmed the shared goal of realizing a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula through "complete denuclearization."
A report by the North's official Korean Central News Agency also included the part in the declaration stating that both sides shared the view that measures being initiated by the North are meaningful and crucial for denuclearization, and agreed to fulfill their respective roles and responsibilities.
The wording has not been changed from the joint declaration announced by President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un towards the end of their one-day summit on Friday held on the southern side of the Panmunjeom border village.
The North's official Rodong Sinmun newspaper devoted four pages to summit coverage.
