Moon Proposes to Kim Blueprint for Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation

The South Korean presidential office has revealed that President Moon Jae-in proposed a set of measures to enhance inter-Korean economic cooperation to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during their summit last Friday.
According to a top presidential official on Monday, Moon told his aides during a meeting on Monday that he handed Kim a booklet and a video presenting the “New Economic Plan for the Korean Peninsula.”
It was known that Moon proposed the two Koreas conduct joint research on possible economic cooperation measures they could take if international sanctions on the North are lifted.
Regarding a news report that Moon uttered the phrase "power plant" during his stroll and one-on-one talks with Kim, the presidential office denied it, saying Moon did not speak to Kim about such issues.
However, the top office said the the video given to Kim contained some contents on a power plant, but did not elaborate further.
