Trumps Considers Panmunjeom as US-N.Korea Summit Venue
U.S. President Donald Trump says he is considering the DMZ truce village of Panmunjeom as a possible venue for his upcoming summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
He told reporters at the White House Monday he had already discussed the possibility with President Moon Jae-in, who passed word to North Korea.
In an earlier tweet, Trump suggested Panmumjeom may be a more "representative, important and lasting" venue than a third party country.
