Kim Jong-un Appears to Be Visiting China to Meet with Xi Jinping

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un appears to be visiting the Chinese province of Liaoning to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping ahead of the planned U.S.-North Korea summit.
A source familiar with North Korea affairs told KBS that Dalian Airport was closed to the public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday and roads around the city's Bangchuidao Guesthouse were closed on Monday afternoon.
The source said an Air Koryo plane from North Korea, which does not usually fly to Dalian, was observed at the airport, adding to speculation Kim was on the plane.
A vehicle believed to be carrying a top North Korean official, probably Kim, and a convoy of other vehicles were also observed speeding through the city’s downtown areas under a tight police escort.
KBS’s cameras also captured a plane that appeared to be carrying Xi landing at Dalian Airport on Tuesday afternoon, raising speculation he will meet Kim in the city.
If the two leaders meet, it will be their second meeting in around 40 days after Kim's surprise visit to Beijing in late March.
