KCNA: Kim, Pompeo Reach Satisfactory Agreement on Summit

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have reportedly reached a "satisfactory agreement" regarding the upcoming U.S.-North Korea summit.
The North's official Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) reported on Thursday that Kim held talks with Pompeo on Wednesday, who was visiting Pyongyang to prepare for the planned summit.
The North Korean media said that Pompeo conveyed a verbal message from U.S. President Donald Trump to Kim and the two sides exchanged assessments and opinions on the current situation on the Korean Peninsula. The two sides also explained the positions of their leadership on the planned summit.
Kim and Pompeo reportedly held in-depth discussions on the working-level issues of the summit, including the procedures, and the two sides reached a satisfactory agreement on the matters.
