CNN: Trump Officials Prepare to Hold US-N. Korea Summit in Singapore
CNN reported that U.S. administration officials have been instructed to move forward with plans to hold the Washington-Pyongyang summit in Singapore.
The report published Wednesday cited two people familiar with the plans, adding that the decision is ultimately up to U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump on Wednesday confirmed that the location and time for his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been set. He said he would announce the details within three days and ruled out the Demilitarized Zone on the Korean border as a potential location.
