U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and three Americans who were released from North Korean custody on Wednesday have reportedly arrived in Alaska.
According to Reuters Thursday, a charter plane carrying Pompeo and the three released detainees has arrived in Alaska en route to the continental U.S.
The three former detainees thanked the U.S. government, President Donald Trump, Pompeo and the people of the United States for bringing them home, according to a statement released by the U.S. State Department.
They also thanked God and their families and friends who prayed for their return.
Pompeo and the three Americans are set to arrive at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland at around 2 a.m. Thursday local time.
Trump said he would personally greet the group at the air force base together with Vice President Mike Pence.
