SNU Students Propose Talks with N. Korean University for Exchanges

<p>Students at Seoul National University(SNU) sent an email to Kim Il-sung University in North Korea proposing talks on holding exchanges.</p><p><br></p><p>A student committee on the project announced Friday that they sent the email which later showed that it had been read by the recipient.</p><p><br></p><p>The committee proposed holding working-level talks with the North sometime between June and August in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang to discuss exchanges between the two universities.</p><p><br></p><p>The committee added that inter-Korean relations require groundbreaking improvements in order to achieve peace and Korean unification.</p><p><br></p><p>Earlier this month, Seoul's Unification Ministry approved the SNU committee's request to contact North Korea submitted on May 24th. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
