CNN: No Call Between US, N. Korea over Weekend
CNN reports there was no call between the leaders of the U.S. and North Korea over the weekend.
Two U.S. administration officials confirmed that there was no phone call between the two sides, but did not give a reason why.
When asked about his Father's Day plans during an interview with Fox News on Friday, Trump said he planned on calling the North, and hinted at starting a direct communication with Kim Jong-un.
He also told reporters that he gave Kim his number.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also confirmed Monday that there had been no call between President Trump and the North Korean leader.
