N. Korean Leader Presumably Visited Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is said to have visited the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Beijing on Wednesday.
According to sources in Beijing, two VIP vehicles with gold emblems and cars likely carrying Kim's entourage were spotted entering and leaving the academy on Wednesday morning.
Earlier in May, a delegation from the North’s ruling Workers’ Party inspected the same academy and conveyed Pyongyang’s wish to cooperate with China in the field of agriculture as well as science and technology.
During the May visit, Chinese officials were said to have proposed launching large-scale projects in agriculture, science and technology as well as human science with the North.
The North Korean leader is likely to have mulled ways to boost cooperation in such areas by visiting the academy on his second day in China.
