N. Korea Media Call for Faithful Implementation of US-N. Korea Summit Agreement

North Korea's media have called for the faithful implementation of the agreement in the United States-North Korea summit in Singapore, as Pyongyang is set to repatriate the remains of American troops killed during the Korean War.
The North's propaganda Web site "Uriminzokkiri" said on Sunday that North Korea and the United States should fulfill their responsibility to remove decades-long tensions and hostile relations, and open a new era of cooperation by faithfully implementing the joint statement that the two sides have announced.
Another propaganda media, DPRK Today, made a similar call on Sunday, saying that the path to thoroughly implementing the North-U.S. joint statement is the path to securing the common interests of the peoples of the two countries, and peace, security and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and in the world.
The repatriation of the remains of American troops is part of the June 12 agreement between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
