N. Korean Media Report on Inter-Korean Basketball Matches

North Korea's state media have reported on friendly inter-Korean basketball games held on Wednesday in Pyongyang.
The Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) reported on Thursday that South and North Korean basketball players held two friendly games at the Ryugyong Chung Ju-yung Gymnasium on Wednesday.
KCNA said that the matches were between teams named “peace” and “prosperity” made up of a mixture of North and South Korean players.
The report said that in the women’s game, the “prosperity” team won 103-102, while the men’s game was tied at 102-102.
It added that the matches were attended by Choe Hwi, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Ri Son-gwon, head of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country that handles inter-Korean affairs.
The report said the South Korean delegation led by Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon also attended the games.
