N. Korea Wants Inter-Korean Talks to be Conducted Faster

North Korea wants inter-Korean talks to be conducted faster and more practically, according to Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon, who is currently visiting North Korea.
Cho told reporters Thursday that Kim Yong-chol, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the North’s ruling Workers' Party, unveiled such a stance when they held talks earlier in the day.
Cho said he told Kim that he believes the two Koreas will naturally figure out their positions in the process of continuously holding discussions.
He added that Kim is scheduled to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday, who will be making his third trip to the reclusive state.
Kim reportedly told Cho that he plans to hold good consultations with Pompeo.
