'Xi says N. Korea's Denuclearization will Take Long Time'
Chinese President Xi Jinping has reportedly said North Korea's denuclearization isn't likely to happen quickly.
Russian news agency Tass reports that President Xi conveyed that view to visiting Russian upper house speaker Valentina Matviyenko in Beijing on Wednesday.
According to the Russian Federation Council speaker, the Chinese president is convinced North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is interested in achieving the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, but says one can't expect swift results and it will be a long process.
