Pompeo Arrives in Pyongyang for Nuclear Talks

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Pyongyang Friday to flesh out an agreement on North Korea’s denuclearization from last month's U.S.-North Korea summit in Singapore.
A plane boarded by Pompeo and State Department officials landed in the North Korean capital for the secretary’s third visit to the reclusive country.
During a brief stopover in Japan earlier in the day, Pompeo said he will seek to fill in some details on the commitments made by U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore, and continue the momentum toward the North's denuclearization.
Pompeo is scheduled to meet Kim during his visit, which runs through Saturday, after which he will fly to Tokyo for a trilateral meeting with his South Korean and Japanese counterparts.
There is speculation that Pyongyang could hand over remains of U.S. troops killed during the Korean War during Pompeo's visit.
