The top office says President Moon Jae-in held phone talks with U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday to get an update on the results of his summit with North Korea.
The two leaders are believed to have discussed the backdrop for the failure in talks and details of the negotiations as well as ways for cooperation going forward.
Trump called Moon from Air Force One on his way back to the United States from Vietnam.
