22-year-old Korean pop singer and actress Jang Na-ra was selected as "Singer of the Year (Korea)" by the 2003 CCTV-MTV Music Honors. The annual prize, given by the state-run China Central Television and the music cable channel MTV, is based on audience votes. In addition to her songs, dramas starring Jang such as "Cheerful Girl's Success Story" (2002, SBS) and "My Love, Patzzi" (2002, MBC) have been exported to China. Jang is to perform "Sweet Dream," the title song of "My Love, Patzzi," at the awards ceremony in Beijing on September 12th.
