Her 10-minute surprise concert attracted more than 20,000 people in Tokyo’s Shibuya District, demonstrating the teenager singer’s explosive popularity. Police officials as well as concert organizers voiced amazement at the great number of fans swarming to the star’s impromptu performance. BoA launched sales of her third album made in Japan on Jan.15. The work has already recorded 800,000 pre-sale orders.
