Singer Hyun Jin-young who is best known for the song “You Inside My Vague Memories” will be releasing a new album after almost 4 years of hiatus. Since he debuted in 1990 as the leader of Hyun Jin-young and Wawa, the singer’s last album was released in January of 2002. The release of his 5th album will take place after exactly 3 years and 11 months since the release of his 4th. Planning to put copies of the new album on the shelves of record shops in December, Hyun Jin-young is currently known to be working hard on the last stage of recording the new songs. Last year, Hyun established a record company called “Made in H.J.Y.” The record company said, “Hyun Jin-young will be introducing hip-hop music with touches of jazz added to it. The reason for such a long hiatus was because his 4th album hadn’t been successful.” The company added, “All songs in the new album were written and produced by Hyun Jin-young himself. Listeners will be able to enjoy hip-hop music of Hyun’s unique style in the new album.”
