Lee Hyo-ri is the highest-paid female singer in Korea
Lee Hyo-ri left her agency of 8 years, DSP Entertainment, and has concluded talks with the CJ affiliate, M-Net Media, to be exclusively represented by the company for 3 years for an estimated W1.5 billion (US$1=W935). The contract is all drawn up and all that remains is for both sides to stamp their official seals. Lee is best known and most popular as a pop singer, but last year she made her acting debut in a TV drama. On top of that, she signed to continue appearing in Samsung Anycall commercials, which will earn her some W800 million this year and will appear in other commercials as well. She is also winning the hearts of viewers as a presenter on the show “Happy Together Friends” on KBS2 TV. Meanwhile, singer and fellow FinKL-alum, Ok Ju-Hyeon has also decided to make her home at M-Net Entertainment. Following the Seong Yu-ri’s move to Sidus HQ and Lee Jin-ee’s move to Star-J Entertainment, all the members of the girl group FinKL are starting anew.
