The Youngest Girl Group in Korea Unveiled
SM Entertainment has unveiled its new girl group, f(x), on Monday. With an average age of 16.6 years, f(x) is the youngest girl group in Korea. An SM Entertainment official says that although f(x) members are younger than other idol group members, they demonstrate more passion and power than others their age.

Producer of TVXQ, BoA, and Girls’ Generation, SM Entertainment has gained attention of music fans with its string of hot idol groups. The agency said that the concept for the group has not been set, as they haven’t made their official debut yet. But detailed information about the members and the meaning of the group name will be released very soon.

Some members worth noting include Crystal, who is the younger sister of Jessica of Girls’ Generation. She has also appeared in the music video of “Juliet” by SHINee. Another member, Victoria, is also an experienced entertainer, appearing in the music videos of Super Junior M and SHINee.
