Hallyu star Lee Jun-ki and Kim So-youn are set to rub shoulders with international stars like Sharon Stone, Marion Cotillard and Maggie Cheung on the red carpet.
The two Korean stars were invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 10th Shanghai International Film Festival on the 16th.
Lee, who received attention in the international film world for his role in the 2005 movie, “The King And The Clown,” is currently in Thailand shooting his new drama “The Time of Dogs and Wolves” (“개와 늑대의 시간/Gae-wa Neukdae-ui Shigan” in Korean).
The Shanghai International Film Festival will take place on the 16th-24th of this month. The Lee Jun Ik-directed “Radio Star” is up for a Jin Jue Award and Kwon Hyung-jin’s “For Horowitz” is nominated for the Asian New Talent Award.
