DJ DOC Donates $20,000 to Singers Association
Singer Kim Chang-ryeol, a member of the popular boy band DJ DOC, has donated 20,000 dollars to the Korean Singers Association.

Association chief Kim Won-chan recently said in an interview that Kim recently donated 20,000 dollars he earned from shooting an ice-cream commercial to the organization.

Following the press release of his good deed, Kim commented that it was "not a big deal" as other members also make contributions for older members who need financial support. Kim was appointed director of the association in November last year.

Association Chief Kim also said during the interview that the money Kim donated will be used to help the livelihoods of older artists outside the popular music circle like Keum Sa-hyang, who, back in the days was popular for his song 'Hong Kong Lady' and Han Myung-sook, well-known for his old hit 'Man in the Yellow Shirt.'
