Singers Jang, Kim Start Alternative Army Service
Two singers, Jang Woo-hyuk and Coyote member Kim Jong-min, will begin their military service.

They will receive four weeks of basic training at the army boot camp in Nonsan from Thursday and then start alternative service as civil servants at their designated workplaces.

Jang entered active duty military service in April but was sent home after three days because of test results showing a neck bone fracture. He is not yet fully healed but decided to resume his service.

Kim was reexamined for waist pain for which he received a level four diagnosis. After the month-long training, he will start working at the Seoul Central District Court in Seochodong.

Jang has been preparing for his service while Kim will begin his duty shortly after his group's album release. Successors are being sought out for Kim's MC post on the KBS 2TV entertainment programs 'Happy Sunday' and 'Crisis Escape Number One.'
