Koreana Comes Back with Jo PD
Korean-American group Koreana is coming back to the music scene with Jo PD. Having performed “Hand in Hand,” the official theme song for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Koreana has agreed to launch a project called “Victory 2010” with Korean rapper Jo PD. Jo PD’s agency Brand New Stardom reported that the negotiation for the joint project has been underway since last year and Jo PD has planned for Victory 2010 for a long time to coincide with the year 2010 when major sports competitions like the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Asian Games take place.

Koreana has won worldwide fame in 1988 after performing in the opening ceremony for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. Their songs “Hand in Hand” and “Victory” became global hits and had topped various European music charts. In the meantime, Koreana plans to depart for Switzerland on February 19th and Jo PD is scheduled to release his new track and album on February 22nd and March 9th.
