Artists Join Lee Seung-chul On His 25th Anniversary Album
A list of A-list k-pop singers have signed on to participate in veteran singer Lee Seung-chul's new album. After first debuting through the group Buhwal in 1985, Lee has spent 25 long years in the industry where many other artists/groups failed to be anything more than a one-hit wonder.

According to reports from his management on the 13th, Lee will be releasing an album on May 3rd in order to celebrate his 25-year-long career. Though three new songs will be unveiled, the rest will be some of Lee's past hit songs with a twist: they'll be remade by other younger fellow artists.

Female singer Ivy will be singing '긴하루' or "Long Day", Kim Bum-soo will give his own spin on '떠나지마' or "Don't Leave Me", Kim Tae-woo will give his rendition of '희야' or "Hee Ya", while JYP Entertainment's Park Jin-young and Psy have yet to reveal what their song remakes will be. Even pianist Kim Jeong-won will contribute through a piano instrumental version of the song '안녕이라고 말하지마' or "Don't Say Goodbye".

Lee's agency added that when news of one or two artists taking part in Lee's 25 year anniversary album got out, a slew of other artists expressed interest in also joining in the project. Also, rather than Lee Seung-chul selecting what each of these artists should sing, the artists each selected one of their own personal favorites.
