T-ara Donates 20 million won To National Defense Fund
Seven-membered girl group, T-ara is refusing to sit back idly after North Korea's attack on Yeon-pyeong Island earlier this week. It was announced November 26th, that the girls felt so wronged and saddened by the news that they asked their entertainment agency, Core Contents Media, if they could make a 20 million won donation to the national defense fund.?

The members expressed, "With the recent attack on Yeon-pyeong Island and the Cheonan sinking before that, we wanted to express our condolences over the lost lives of our military forces and civilians. We're saddened by these incidents not to mention angry at North Korea for looking down on us."

They continued, "We remember how our parents used to save up money to be used for our country when we were young. Although it may not be a large amount, we also wanted to contribute to build up our nation's power."

Core Contents Media stated that although the donation has yet to be officially made, as soon as the details are worked out, the amount will be transferred to the national defense fund.
