Today I’m going to introduce the hottest shoe trends for fall 2015.

Fall is just around the corner and it’s time to update your wardrobe with fall shoes. Among other hot trends, bold footwear were seen all over the runways with many of fashion’s most celebrated designers offering plenty of wearable ways to rock the trend.

Laced-up footwear
First up, a variety of footwear styles characterized by elegant lacing is extremely popular at the moment. In particular, laced-up sandals made a huge comeback for spring/summer 2015 and will likely stay this season, making them a must-buy this fall. To update your look in time for the new season, ditch your everyday black pumps for a stylish pair of laced-up sandals. Considered the new interpretation of the gladiator sandals, laced-up footwear come in a wide variety of designs—from the killer knee-high gladiators featuring wide straps to very thin, spaghetti strap laced-up flats, heels and boots—there is a little something for every taste. For casual outings, opt for a pair of laced-up ballerina flats that add a feminine touch to your overall look. Pair the shoes with simple but intriguing monochrome pieces—such as an LBD (the little black dress) or the LWD (little white dress) and let the shoes be the focal point of your outfit.

Colorful footwear
Remember, when it comes to shoe trends—think the bolder, the better. Another shoe option trending in for fall 2015 is the colorful footwear. According to fashion magazines, the quickest and the easiest way to make a statement with your footwear this season is to play with colorful shoe choices. This season, brands are utilizing a wide ranging color palette—everything from zesty orange ballerina flats to ruby red loafers, yellow and green suede ankle boots, a wide variety of colorful sneakers and more. In particular, colored footwear is becoming increasingly popular among men as well. For the office, ditch your everyday black loafers for a pair of burgundy leather lace-up boots and take your look from plain to chic. For casual functions, opt for a pair of sneakers in multi-colored neons instead of your regular running shoes. When rocking the look, keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the shoes stand out.

When it comes to shoe trends for fall 2015, the bottom line is that it’s all about making a statement. No longer just confined to clothing, prints of all kinds are being applied to a wide variety of footwear styles at the moment. Pick up your favorite style from a wide variety of designs to choose from—everything from polka dot patterned laced-ups to stylish ankle boots featuring fringed detailing, a pair of distinctive fur decorated loafers, and more. For the office, swap your everyday brown loafers for a pair of animal print creepers (which are crepe-soled suede shoes) and instantly make a statement. For women, opt for a pair of sensible pumps featuring funky patterns—such as checks, geometric shapes and wild animal prints—and add some personality to your everyday business attire. In addition, embellishments are totally fun and unique. This fall, don’t be shy to try shoe styles decorated with studs, chains, and/or zipper detailing for a more polished finish and flaunt your fashion sense! Remember, a simple black dress can be paired with sparkly stilettos decorated with studs and be turned into a whole new look.
