Orange & Blue Ensembles for Spring 2016
Spring is in full swing and it’s time for a style update! To help you up your style quotient, today I’m going to introduce tips on how to wear orange and blue—a hot fashion trend you may love to follow this season.

As any fashionista knows, one quick way to update your style is to work with the season’s hottest colors. Aside from Rose Quartz (delicate pink) and Serenity (soft blue) —the two baby-hued pastel colors picked by Pantone as the Colors of the Year, orange and blue were seen all over the Spring/Summer 2016 runways, officially becoming one of the coolest color duos of the season.

According to fashion magazines, orange is the new black for Spring/Summer 2016. Far from pale and wishy-washy, this season’s orange is more of a bold but toned-down tangerine, coral-y and tawny orange. Super wearable and easy to work with, bold orange hues go perfectly well with blues—another hot color of the season.

Orange and deep blue ensembles can instantly give your wardrobe a much-needed boost for the new season ahead. On the spring 2016 runways, zesty oranges and blues made a statement, brightening up the monochromes on display. For the office, ditch your everyday white button-down and opt for a tangerine colored loose blouse. Team up the top with a pair of electric blue slacks with a slightly slouchy fit. Top off the look with a pair of black heels and you have a chic outfit.

On a day when you feel like you have nothing to wear, wearing orange on blue is a classic, effortless way to put together a stylish outfit. Spring staples—everything from blazers, button-downs, knit tops to pencil skirts, knit bottoms and more in lovely oranges and blues are super hot this season—find your favorites and mix and match to the max. For casual outings, opt for a flowy silk coral-y orange maxi skirt and pair a blue sleeveless knit top for a color blocked look. Complete the outfit with a pair of wedges and a clutch—and you have a cute outfit for any spring day.

Wear oranges and blues now and add a pop of color to your spring wardrobe!
