Tips on How to Wear More Color
Summer is the time to wear colors! With so many bold colors everywhere we turn this summer, it’s officially time to feel confident wearing more color! Today I’m going to introduce tips on how to bring more color into your summer wardrobe.

● Tip #1: Trade in basic neutrals for a colorful summer staple
When it comes to adding some color to your outfits, it’s always better to start small and work your way up—and the easy way to do this is to trade in neutrals for brights. To update your look, substitute brighter colors for where you would normally wear neutrals such as beige, black, or grey. Remember, you want to start small and let one colorful piece be the focal point of your outfit instead of diving in head first and wearing five bright pieces at the same time. For the office, switch out your everyday pencil skirt, blazer, and blouse for colorful options—in lovely corals, pinks, yellows, greens, reds, and more—and instantly jazz up your look. For a night out on the town, ditch your favorite LBD (little black dress) for once and opt for a bold, colorful dress. On a day when you feel like turning some heads, you can go a bit further and step out in a dress with both color and bold patterns. Pick up an orange printed dress and wear it teamed up with a tote bag and a pair of wedges—and you have a chic outfit perfect for any lovely summer day!

● Tip #2: Wear a bold shoe
Rock a shoe in a color you love. The great thing about bold shoes is that they can instantly juice up even the most boring outfit. Hot pink ballet flats paired with denim shorts and a top, red heels with an LBD (little black dress) or an LWD (little white dress), or neon green pumps paired with an all-black ensemble—whichever way you do it, you can’t go wrong!

● Tip #3: Add pizzazz with colorful accessories
Another way to wear color is to add colorful accessories to your wardrobe. Something as plain as a white T-shirt can be your style statement when worn with bright colored accessories. Consider adding colorful necklaces, strapped watches, bangles, and rings and pair them up with monochromatic outfits and accent your look. In addition, vivid candy-colored bags are not just for parties or casual functions—when putting together work outfits, mix and match colorful handbags and punch up an otherwise plain outfit. A bright blue clutch bag is perfect if you tend to wear lots of neutral colors while a red handbag would be a great choice if you normally rock shades of brown and other warm colors.

Play with these tips and make your summer wardrobe bloom with colors!
