The weather is still hot and we are loving one of the hottest fashion trends of the season—yellow. To help you look your best in the heat, today I’m going to introduce three ways to work the yellow trend.

* Styling Tip #1: Switch out neutrals for yellow
One fashion trend celebrities and fashionistas alike are
loving this summer is yellow. Celebs like actress Kim Ji-won from the hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun” and Sulli, a former member of K-pop girl group f(x), have recently been spotted wearing yellow. The perfect summer solution for even the color-shy among us, yellow is popping up everywhere this season—from dresses to
off-the-shoulder tops and take-everywhere tote bags. Whether you are looking to up your fashion quotient at the office or make an impression at an evening party, the
colorful fresh pop of yellow is the perfect choice for any occasion. For the office, switch out tried and tested neutrals for various shades of yellow—everything from sunflower yellow to mustard and butter yellow and create a fresh new look. Opt for yellow blouses, knit tops, pencil skirts, and loose trousers and mix and match with neutrals such as beige, grey, white, or black. For a night out on the town, go all out yellow and wear a yellow figure-hugging pencil dress which can be a great alterna-tive to the LBD (little black dress). Complete the look with a pair of nude colored high heels and a tote, and you have a super cute look.

A fun way to add a little twist to your fashion rou-tine is to experiment with bright yellow accessories. If you are color-shy but don’t want to be left out of the trend, you can
always start with smaller items such as shoes, bags, and other accessories. For the office, switch out your everyday black tote for a bright yellow satchel and instantly make an otherwise dull look come to life. A pair of yellow flats, a floppy hat, and a pair of yellow-framed sunglasses can all be elegant yet whimsical choices for any summer day.

* Styling Tip #3: Opt for yellow nails
Another easy way to wear the sunny shade is to opt for
yellow nails. Super bright yellow nail polish is one trend that keeps coming back year after year and is here to stay this season. Definitely a hot trend we don’t want to wait to try, yellow nails can lift your mood and dress up a casual look. Among other hot nail art styles of the season, mixed nails are still “in.” Instead of doing every nail in the same color, opt for one or two accent nails on both hands. Butter yellow nails with strawberry pink accent nails or a modified French mani with a neon yellow base and hot pink tips can be both trendy and stylish.
