Hottest Makeup Trends for Fall 2016
Fall is fast approaching and it’s time for a beauty update. Today I’m going to introduce the hottest makeup trends for Fall 2016.

* Trend #1: Very Natural Face Makeup
First up, this season’s makeup is all about the fresh, dewy skin and bright pops of color on the lips. Continuing from the last season, one of the hottest fads in makeup at the moment is the almost nude, “barely-there” face makeup look. To get the look, go lighter than usual and opt for BB creams, CC creams, and liquid foundations. Using a foundation brush or a sponge, apply only a small amount in thin layers. Then, apply a cream type concealer to cover up the under-eye dark circles and any blemishes. Finish off with a few strokes of lovely pink or coral blush—and you’ll look as if your skin is naturally flawless.

* Trend #2: The Copper Penny & Taupe Eyelids
When it comes to 2016 Fall/Winter eye makeup trends, warm earthy eyeshadows are super hot. Among the many hues, two colors stick out most from the runways: the copper penny and taupe (which is more of a greyish, muted brown). Both colors are lovely and definitely suitable for the day and for an evening out. To embrace the look, apply a shimmery copper penny or taupe eyeshadow on the lid—just above the iris and instantly brighten up the dark areas of the lid. Pair the warm, shimmery lids with a black eyeliner and a few strokes of mascara. If you want the smoking appeal—a still-popular makeup trend—try to add more smoke and smudge to the bottom lash line by smudging the eyeshadow.

* Trend #3: Super Red and Gothic Lips
As any beauty junkie knows, a swipe of lipstick is sometimes all it takes to completely transform your look. This season’s lip makeup is all about the fierce reds and the power-goth lips, rather than the typical, tried and tested berries. The truly red and gothic lips were seen all over the runways for Fall/Winter 2016, giving us a perfect excuse to try a new style of makeup. Think super bright red lips, the perfect plum, deep wine or black. If you are not comfortable with going all-out in a black lipstick, stick to deep plums and wines and you’ll still be able to get the look. To update your look in time for the new season ahead, switch out your everyday sheer pink lipstick for a super matte, velvety plum lipstick and instantly look classic and on-trend.

Play with these tips and stay beautiful!
