The 20th Seoul Music Awards was held on January 20th at the Kyunghee University's Peace Auditorium in Seoul. Girls Generation won the top most coveted award while SISTAR, CNBLUE, The Boss won the Newcomer Awards. The 10 artists/groups chosen for the Bon (Top) Awards were Girls Generation, SHINee, miss A, Son Dambi, IU, 2AM, 4minute, FT Island, BEAST, and Secret.
