On November 11-12, 2010, Seoul will host a meeting of the G-20, the group of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors from 19 countries and the European Union. Formed in 1999, the G-20 represents the premier forum for international economic cooperation, and November’s meeting represents the first time it will meet in Asia.
As part of KBS World Radio’s special coverage of the G20 Seoul Summit, this is the second of three interviews with key officials and participants.
My guest this week is Australia’s Ambassador to South Korea, The Honorable Sam Gerovich. During our conversation, we discuss the growing concern over currency exchange rates, the Summit agenda of Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and 2011 being named a "Year of Friendship" between Australia and South Korea.
